Getting Started

Alright first of all it's important to define what this bot does. D-Proxy is a proxy bot similar to Pluralkit or Tupperbox, however it's been designed to suit the needs for pluralities and RP Communities.

This bot's values rely around privacy and community interests, for that reason this bot will always list your proxies in a private way and additionally there's several features that have been implemented which this guide will summarize, but for specifics I recommend to check the other guides. The most basic command is /create you can also use /settings to modify settings pertinent to your account. There's also the d!register command available to use without slash commands.

Proxy Creation

Start by using the command /create proxy or d!create. Through this command, we make our proxies and it's heavily recommended to use the image parameter, although you can always add the image or url in /avatar proxy

Listing your proxies

In order to start reading your characters, you have the commands /list proxy at your disposal. This works by opening a small paginator if you didn't prove the specific proxy to read.

It'll display all the information stored, such as the birthday as a discord timestamp in the embed, their descriptions, nicknames and related parameters. (Note: This also can be done through d!list, and nsfw tagged proxies won't show in non nsfw spaces)

Import from other bots

It's recommended to use the slash command import for this, currently this bot is compatible with Tupperbox format, Pluralkit format and of course, our own /import format.

Note: There's also the non slash command way of doing it, which is d!import which works similarly, but this one is least recommended as everyone can see the message.

Secure your data

This is very important to keep in mind when using our bot, but in here every person has an unique token, these tokens allow people to easily transfer proxies from one account to another.

If you wanna check your code, feel free to use the command /export or d!export

Using proxies in DMs / Groups

In order to use proxies in DMs or Groups, it's highly recommended to use the slash command /auto. It'll allow you to set a character or NPC in the DM, and be able to use it with /say

There's also the command /use which lets you say a message as a character without attaching it to your account's /say
